Day 01: Marrakech – Telouet – Ouarzazate – Skoura

Leave the ochre city of Marrakech and journey through the breathtaking Tizi n’Tichka Pass, passing remote mountain villages along the way. Visit the majestic Ksar of Aït Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s finest examples of traditional southern architecture. Continue through Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Africa,” where iconic films like Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia were shot.
Arrive in Skoura, a serene oasis of palm groves and kasbahs set against the backdrop of the Atlas Mountains.
Overnight in Skoura.

Day 02: Dades Valley – Toudra Gorge – Erfoud – Merzouga Sahara Desert

Visit Kasbah Amridil, a beautifully preserved 17th-century fortress, before following the scenic Road of a Thousand Kasbahs toward the desert. Pass through Boumalne Dades and continue to the awe-inspiring Todra Gorge, where towering limestone cliffs rise more than 300 meters high.
Enjoy a short walk along the gorge before heading to Merzouga, gateway to the Erg Chebbi Dunes.
As the sun sets, embark on a camel ride across the dunes and settle into your luxury desert camp. Savor a traditional dinner by the campfire under a sky full of stars.
Overnight in Merzouga (Sahara Desert).
 

Day 03: Sahara Desert Exploration

Explore the vast Erg Chebbi dunes by 4x4. Visit Khamlia Village to experience the hypnotic rhythms of Gnaoua music, performed by descendants of African tribes who migrated along ancient trade routes. Meet nomadic families in their tents and glimpse their unique desert lifestyle.
If weather permits, visit Lake Merzouga, a seasonal oasis for migratory birds. Continue to Rissani, once the ancient city of Sijilmassa, a vital hub for caravans traveling from Timbuktu. Wander through its bustling souk filled with spices, fabrics, and local produce.
Return to your hotel for leisure time — relax by the pool or enjoy an optional quad or dune buggy ride across the sands.
Overnight in Merzouga (Sahara Desert).

Day 04: Rissani – Al Nkoube – Agdz – Ait Ben Haddou

Travel from Rissani through Alnif, a region renowned for its prehistoric fossils, including ancient trilobites. Continue toward Agdz, a peaceful town nestled at the foot of Jebel Kissane on the edge of the Draa Valley, where kasbahs and palm groves line the riverbanks.
End the day in Aït Benhaddou, the legendary fortified village famous for its earthen architecture and cinematic legacy.
Overnight in Aït Benhaddou.

Day 05: Ait Ben Haddou to Marrakech

After breakfast, explore the impressive Kasbah of Telouet, once a stronghold of the Glaoui family and a hidden gem in the High Atlas. Continue through the scenic mountain village of Aït Barka, stopping for a leisurely lunch before descending toward Marrakech, where your desert journey concludes.
End of Tour.

Amazing tour in morocco by Moroccan odyssey

We just completed an unforgettable two week journey with Moroccan Odyssey Tours in June, guided by the incredible Mr.Youssef and driven by the skilled and reliable Adnane. From Casablanca to Rabat, Tangier Chefchaouen, Volubilis, and Fes, every stop brought new discoveries and then the magic in the Merzouga Desert ATV rides, sand‑boarding, and a camel trek during a breathtaking desert sunset. (Highly recommended!) Next, we relaxed at a Eden boutique in Dades Valley before heading to Marrakech, with an exciting, on‑the‑fly detour to the spectacular Todgha Gorge thanks to Youssef’s flexibility and Adnane’s calm professionalism. We experienced everything from sunshine to sandstorms, rainstorms, and even flooding it was thrilling! Highlights included feasting on tagine, exploring vibrant medinas, sipping fresh sugarcane juice, and tasting the juiciest oranges. This trip was pure joy, and we all wish we could’ve stayed longer! Our heartfelt thanks to Youssef, Adnane, and the entire Sirocco team for an amazing time it truly was the trip of a lifetime. I highly recommend this company!

Best Experience Ever!!

Honestly, we have nothing to complain about, we are so glad we made moroccon odyssey our tour company of choice for our travel arrangements in morocco. They were very professional and prompt to respond, from beginning to end. We had the best of guides, who were well spoken and very knowledgeable in all cities/towns. Our driver Adnane is the best and a good driver. He is always either early/on time, never late, always available/accomodating and flexible should plans need to change, very knowledgeable, patient, respectful. We are back home and cant wait to visit morocco again, for our next trip to sahara desert and would definately choose moroccan odyssey again.
