Itinerary
Upon your arrival in Marrakech, the red city and a major tourism hub in Morocco, your private driver will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. You'll have the rest of the day to relax and explore at your own leisure. You can visit Djemaa el-Fna, Marrakech's main square, and wander around the souk bazaars in the Medina.

Today, you'll explore the Moroccan tourism hub of Marrakech. Your local guide will show you the magnificent El Bahia Palace, Majorelle Garden, and Ben Youssef Madrasa, all of which date back to the 12th century. To reach Jamaa El Fna Square, the iconic market square in Marrakech's old town, you'll meander through the narrow lanes of the souk bazaars, lined with storytellers, magicians, food stalls, and snake charmers. Jamaa El Fna offers fresh fruit juice at the end of the day.

Today, your destination is Essaouira, a charming coastal town along the Atlantic shoreline. This town offers a different aspect of Morocco, with a real medieval coastal village vibe. Your guide in Essaouira will help you explore this captivating, unspoiled location with a North African atmosphere. Visit the artist community, known for its colonnades, thuya wood crafts, art galleries, and delectable seafood. Essaouira also features lovely white-washed and blue-shuttered houses. Wander around the town's historic medina, Jewish mellah, fishing harbor, and Skala du Port, offering stunning views of Essaouira. Essaouira's medina, a walled town from the late 18th century, is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Today, you'll explore a different side of Morocco along the Atlantic coast, heading to Agadir. Taroudant, often called "Mini Marrakech," is an authentic Berber market town that provides a more genuine experience, as it is less crowded with tourists. It was once used as the headquarters by the Saadian Family.

You'll travel to Taliouine, the Saffron Land. In this rural area, women's cooperatives have been established to help women earn a fair wage for their labor. You'll observe the saffron extraction process. Next, you'll visit Tazenakht, known as the "Land of Carpets," to view hand-woven Berber carpets at a cooperative of women weavers. Finally, you'll make your way to Ait Ben-haddou for an overnight stay.

Today, you'll explore the Ksar of Ait Benhaddou, a magnificent example of South Moroccan architecture and home to one of Morocco's best-preserved kasbahs, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your journey continues through Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Africa due to its use as a filming location for movies like Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, and Star Wars. You'll explore the well-known Kasbah Amridil and head to Dades Gorge for an overnight stay. Skoura, a lush oasis with towering palm trees and stunning views of the Atlas Mountains, surrounds this area.

Todra Gorge, also known as the "Grand Canyon of the Sahara," is one of Morocco's most spectacular natural sights. The towering gorge rises over 300 meters and provides excellent hiking opportunities among the limestone cliffs. In the late afternoon, you'll arrive at the luxurious desert camp in Merzouga. The reddish-hued sand dunes, which can reach heights of up to 150 meters, create a breathtaking and otherworldly landscape. You'll take a 45-minute camel ride at sunset and enjoy a traditional dinner by the campfire.

You'll depart for Fes, heading towards the Middle Atlas mountains. Along the way, you'll stop at Ifrane, a beautiful ski resort often called "Little Switzerland," and observe the cedar forests of Azrou, home to Barbary macaques. You'll have lunch in Midelt, known for its apple production. Driving through the Ziz Valley, with its vast palm trees and date production, you'll descend through the Atlas Mountains. Arriving in Merzouga before nightfall, you'll embark on a 45–60 minute dromedary camel ride at dusk to the Erg Chebbi Dunes, where you'll spend the night in a luxury tent.

Today, you'll visit Fes, the cultural and spiritual capital of Morocco. Your local guide will take you on a tour of the oldest continuously operating medina in the world, often referred to as a "living museum." You'll step back in time in the labyrinth of the medina, bustling with craftsmen, markets, tanneries, and mosques. You'll explore the specialized sections that divide the souk, passing donkeys laden with goods. You'll discover the Royal Palace, Blue Gate, Clock Tower, Bou Inania Madrasa, Nejjarine Fountain, the oldest university Al Quaraouiyine, tanneries, Borj Sud, Moroccan artworks, Berber carpets, and zellige tiles & ceramics.

You'll start the day by visiting the Imperial City of Meknes, exploring the Old Medina, Royal Stables, the stunning Bab Mansour gate, and the Agdal Reservoir. Then you'll journey to Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with some of the best-preserved and impressive Roman ruins in North Africa. Your guide will lead you on a walk through these 2,000-year-old ruins, including the Capitoline Temple, Basilica, Roman Baths, Triumphal Arch, Houses, and Palaces adorned with beautiful mosaics. After your exploration, you'll head to the Blue City, Chefchaouen, for an overnight stay.

In the morning, explore the charming and vividly blue-colored town of Chefchaouen, nestled between two mountains known as Ech-Chaoua (The Horns), from which it takes its name. This delightful town features steep, narrow streets with white and indigo lime-washed buildings, small squares, ornate fountains, and houses with elaborately decorated doorways and red tile roofs. Afterward, visit the UNESCO-listed old medina of Tetouan and take an orientation walk around. Head to Tangier for an overnight stay and explore the old medina of Tangier and the Phoenician Tombs.

Begin your day by exploring the Cave of Hercules and Cape Spartel. Then, head to the Moorish city of Rabat, the capital of Morocco, where you will visit the Royal Palace (the official residence of the King), the Mohammed V Mausoleum dedicated to the founder of modern Morocco, the Mauresque-style Hassan Tower, and the Oudaya Kasbah, along with its scenic Andalusian garden.

Casablanca is the largest metropolis and commercial hub of Morocco. In the morning, you will visit the stunning Hassan II Mosque, a remarkable structure partly located on land and partly on the ocean, capable of accommodating 25,000 worshipers, with its minaret standing as the tallest religious structure in the world. After a short walk along La Corniche, you will return to "the red city" of Marrakech for an overnight stay.

Terms and Conditions
Upon signature of the booking form by any participant in this tour and formal confirmation of admittance, the participant agrees that the organizing agents of the tour Moroccan Odyssey:
Moroccan Odyssey accepts bookings subject to the following Booking Conditions. A ‘Client’ is all persons named on the booking form intending to travel with Moroccan Odyssey. A ‘Product’ is any service sold by Moroccan Odyssey. All Clients will be deemed to have read, understood, and accepted all Booking Conditions. To confirm a booking, Moroccan Odyssey requires that the agent has taken full payment of all monies due. A contract between the Client and Moroccan Odyssey comes into existence when Moroccan Odyssey has confirmed the booking in writing and issued a Confirmation. The person signing the booking form (that incorporates these terms and conditions) warrants that s/he has full authority to do so on behalf of all persons whose names appear thereon and confirms that all such persons are fully aware of and understand these terms and conditions. The said contract, including all matters arising from it, is subject to Turkish Law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the Turkish Courts. No employees or representatives of Moroccan Odyssey have any right to alter, vary, or waive any of these terms and conditions, nor to undertake any liability whatsoever on behalf of, unless such is in writing and signed by the Director of Moroccan Odyssey. Moroccan Odyssey reserves the right to decline any booking at their discretion without further explanation.
Amendments and Cancellations by Clients
Clients can cancel at any time. The cancellation will be effected at the time that Moroccan Odyssey receives a written request from the Client and the following cancellation charges will apply:
- 60 days prior to arrival: 10% of the tour / service cost
- 45 days prior to arrival: 25% of the tour / service cost
- 30 days prior to arrival: 50% of the tour / service cost
- 15 days prior to arrival: 100% of the tour / service cost
- No refund is given for a partially used Product.
If any member of the party is prevented from traveling because of death, injury, or serious illness of the client, close relative or friend, redundancy, or jury service, it may be possible to transfer the booking to another suitable person or departure date or tour of similar standard and cost provided that written notice is confirmed by Moroccan Odyssey. If a refund is payable by Moroccan Odyssey to the Client, the refund amount will be calculated according to the conditions set out above and with consideration of evidence of exceptional circumstances. Moroccan Odyssey will not pay fees charged to the Client by the Client’s bank for processing the credited amount.
Your reservation request will be confirmed upon receipt of the deposit, which is 30% of the total tour package rate with Moroccan Odyssey. Please note that travel arrangements are not confirmed until you receive our written confirmation from Moroccan Odyssey. The balance of the total amount is due 21 days prior to the tour date unless otherwise specified at the time of booking. Daily Tour bookings require full payment at the time of booking with Moroccan Odyssey. Before a booking is confirmed, Moroccan Odyssey reserves the right to amend the price of the product due to any circumstances outside our control, such as changes relating to governmental action, increases in transportation costs (including scheduled airfares and the cost of fuel), changes in any dues, taxes, or fees chargeable for services (including landing taxes or embarkation/disembarkation fees at airports), and increases in admission fees.
Product information is published by Moroccan Odyssey in good faith, and we will use our best endeavors to operate all products. Moroccan Odyssey reserves the right to change any of the facilities and services described in its publications and to substitute alternative arrangements of comparable monetary value without compensation. We accept no liability for the loss of enjoyment resulting from any change.
Payments can be made via bank transfers (subject to a 20 Euro processing fee; account details will be provided upon booking), Visa or MasterCard, via authorization (subject to a 3% processing fee; a credit card copy may be requested) with Moroccan Odyssey.
Moroccan Odyssey reserves the right to cancel any confirmed booking in any circumstances. However, Moroccan Odyssey will not cancel a Guaranteed Departure Product except in the unusual circumstances of force majeure, defined here as war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, flight cancellation, or any other external circumstances (like pandemics) or contagion beyond the control of Moroccan Odyssey. Compensation is not available if Moroccan Odyssey is forced to cancel or in any way change a tour due to force majeure. But where Moroccan Odyssey is unable to provide the tour booked, Moroccan Odyssey will return to the Client to offer an alternative date or holiday of comparable standard
Adequate insurance is mandatory for all Clients to cover at least but not limited to medical and repatriation expenses, loss of luggage and cancellation or curtailment of a Moroccan Odyssey and should not exclude any planned adventure activities from the time of booking for the full duration of the Moroccan Odyssey as a minimum. A Client and his personal belongings are the sole responsibility of himself. Moroccan Odyssey accepts no liability on the Client’s behalf where Moroccan Odyssey has provided a Product of reasonable standard. Clients are fully responsible for arranging their own insurance.
Moroccan Odyssey products and, in particular, adventure activities, entail an element of risk to the personal safety of the Client that other package holidays may not encompass. By accepting these Booking Conditions, Clients acknowledge the inherent risks associated with their chosen travel, and Clients assume these risks voluntarily. Moroccan Odyssey accepts no liability for Client damages when Moroccan Odyssey has fulfilled its Duty of Care to Clients by providing Products of a reasonable standard. Moroccan Odyssey accepts no liability if there has been no fault on the part of Moroccan Odyssey or its suppliers, and the reason for the claimed damages was either the Client’s fault or a result of unusual circumstances beyond the control of Moroccan Odyssey due to force majeure, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even with all due care.
Regarding carriage by air, sea, and rail, and the provision of accommodation, Moroccan Odyssey’s liability in such cases will be limited in the manner provided by the relevant international conventions. Moroccan Odyssey accepts no liability if additional costs to the Client are incurred due to delays, accidents, or disruptions of the Product(s) beyond the control of Moroccan Odyssey as a result of force majeure.
It is the responsibility of the Clients to be in possession of a valid passport, visa permits, vaccinations, preventative medicines and other medical certificates and all necessary travel documents. MMoroccan Odyssey is not liable for damages arising from changes in regulations or laws to the necessary travel document requirements. Information about these matters is given in good faith by Moroccan Odyssey but without liability.
All Clients are expected to satisfy themselves prior to booking that they are fit and able to complete the itinerary of their chosen tour as described in the brochure. Any Clients with pre-existing medical conditions or illness must declare the true nature of such conditions at the time of booking, and make arrangements for the provision of any medication or other treatment which may be required during the tour. Such a client is required to provide a medical statement from a General Practitioner to confirm they are fit to travel. Failure to make such disclosure will constitute a breach of these booking conditions and relieve Moroccan Odyssey from any obligations and liability.
Clients agree to accept the authority and decisions of Moroccan Odyssey and its supplier’s employees and representatives whilst on tour. If in the opinion of such persons, the health or conduct of a Client before or after the departure appears likely to endanger the safe, comfortable or happy progress of the tour, the Client may be excluded from all or part of the tour without prior notice or any liability on the part of Moroccan Odyssey . In the case of Client ill health, Moroccan Odyssey may make such arrangements as it sees fit and recover the costs thereof from the Client. Passengers agree to comply with the laws and regulations of the countries they travel. MMoroccan Odyssey shall not be liable to any Clients who commit illegal or unlawful acts whilst on tour.
Our authorized representatives may take photographs and films of our Clients while using any Moroccan Odyssey . Moroccan Odyssey reserves the right to use said material for any advertising or promotion without obtaining further consent.Moroccan Odyssey also reserves the right to use any comments Clients make, questionnaires or complimentary letters with respect to Moroccan Odyssey or its Products in promotional literature.
If the Client has a complaint about any of the Product arrangements the Client must raise the complaint immediately with a Moroccan Odyssey employee so that Moroccan Odyssey can use its best endeavors to rectify the problem. Moroccan Odyssey cannot rectify a problem it is unaware of. Failure to complain on the spot will extinguish or at least reduce Moroccan Odyssey liability to pay compensation. ShouldMoroccan Odyssey be unable to resolve the problem on the spot a complaint must be made in writing within 28 days of completion of the Product.
