In the afternoon, visit the fascinating Ksar of Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the finest examples of South Moroccan architecture, home to one of Morocco's best-preserved kasbahs. Today, explore the renowned Kasbah Amridil, then head to the Sahara Desert via the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing through the arid, mountainous Boumalne Dades. Todra Gorge, also known as the "Grand Canyon of the Sahara," offers one of Morocco's most spectacular and breathtaking natural vistas, with towering cliffs rising over 300 meters. Take a short hike through the cliffs, as the limestone formations provide an excellent hiking location. In the late afternoon, settle into the luxurious desert camp at Merzouga. The stunning reddish-hued sand dunes, which can reach up to 150 meters in height, create an otherworldly sight. Enjoy a 45-minute camel ride at sunset, followed by a traditional dinner around a campfire. Spend the night in comfort.

Depart from Fes and head towards the Middle Atlas mountains. On the way up the Atlas Mountains, you will pass through Ifrane, a picturesque ski resort known as "Little Switzerland," and see Azrou's cedar forests and Barbary apes. For lunch, make a stop in Midelt, known for its apple production. Continue through the Ziz Valley, with its extensive palm groves, the primary source of Morocco's date production, as you descend the Atlas Mountains. Arrive in Merzouga before sunset, then take a 45-60 minute camel ride at dusk into the Erg Chebbi Dunes to set up camp in a luxurious tent at a desert oasis.

Explore the specialized areas that divide the souk while passing donkeys carrying loads (this is one of the largest car-free urban zones in the world with 9000 narrow streets). Discover and enjoy places like the Royal Palace, Blue Gate, Clock Tower, Bou Inania Madrasa, Nejjarine Fountain, Oldest University Al Quaraouiyine, Tanneries, Borj Sud, Moroccan artworks, Berber carpets, and zellige tiles & pottery.
